Meet Dr. Rozny
Dr. Matthew Rozny grew up in Bloomingdale, IL. He graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign in 2002 with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He went on to graduate magna cum laude from Southern Illinois University and obtained his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry in 2006. He furthered his dental education at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s residency program. Dr. Rozny is a general dentist with a focus on straightening teeth to provide patients with a smile they are proud of.
Dr. Rozny and his wife, Sarah, moved to Galesburg in 2009. As the Dentist and Dental Director of the Knox Community Health Center, Dr. Rozny was able to follow his mission to provide affordable quality dental services to all people.
Dr Rozny is a committed life-long learner who is passionate about helping create beautiful smiles. He enjoys problem solving and optimizing treatment efficiency as well as a strong advocate for modern treatment modalities, especially Invisalign.
Dr. Rozny enjoys treating patients of all ages. His light-hearted personality and friendly demeanor help to keep patients at ease.
While not working, Dr. Rozny enjoys time with wife and two children. He enjoys cooking and is always eager to try interesting flavor combinations. When not doing any of the above he can often be found undertaking home renovation projects.
Dr. Rozny is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon the National Dental Honor Society, and American Dental Association.
Meet Dr. Loretoni
Dr. Kersden Loretoni–Rozny grew up in Long Island, New York, and has outstanding academic credentials. She obtained her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and graduated magna cum laude in 2008. Afterwards, she was involved in an intensive three-year orthodontic residency at State University of New York in Buffalo, New York. There she earned a Certificate and Masters in Orthodontics.
Dr. Loretoni-Rozny has attained status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This status is achieved by only a small percentage of orthodontic specialists and requires an intense certification and examination process on all facets of orthodontic treatment, including presenting clinical cases treated by the orthodontist that demonstrate proficiency in this specialty.
Having grown up with both parents being artists, she has an appreciation for painting and creativity and applies her own artistic skills in creating beautiful smiles! Dr. Loretoni-Rozny has a fondness for working with kids, which is a large percentage of pre-teen children as patients.
Dr. Loretoni-Rozny’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, running, swimming and figure skating (she used to compete in figure skating). She has been happily married to Dr. Mike Rozny since 2011.They have a daughter, Kelsey, and a son, Ryan.
